About Tyler Simmons

My name is Tyler Simmons.  I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker based in Tuscaloosa, AL who has extensive experience the area of child welfare, adoptions, etc.

I received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Alabama and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama (with a concentration in Children and Families).

I am licensed to conduct home studies, court evaluations, birth parent interviews (etc) for child custody and adoption cases in the state of Alabama. I work with various attorneys, adoption agencies, family courts and probate courts to assist families in appropriate permanency planning for children.

I believe that Permanency and Stability are crucial factors in children’s lives.  I will work hard to help guide you and your family through this process in the most affordable, comprehensive, and professional manner.  God has truly blessed me with this ability, and I hope that I can use it to Glorify him and to assist your family.
